I have had whippets for 10 years and occasionally breed. Growing up we had GSD (including a very successful Police stud), Collies, Terriers, Poodles and Amstaffs.
Whippets are my passion. My goal in breeding is to maintain the beautiful S curves and the correct hind end assemblies (equal proportions) as the N.A. ideal seems to be shifting to a straighter whippet with a longer 2nd thigh. N.A. has far fewer blue whippets than Europe. I aim to help ensure blues get their due recognition as the Standard clearly states Color is Immaterial.
I do NOT in-breed (aka line breeding). The long term health of the whippet is far more important to me than stamping my line with a 'look'. Breeders may tell you that line breeding is not in-breeding. It is. They are staying within the family line and it is reducing the genetic diversity of the whippet.
Whelping and raising the pups is webcast. You can watch your pups grow confident they are receiving the highest level of care in our home surrounded by our family. Pups are supervised 24/7. I work at home!

WHIPPET BREEDER
Belle Folie, in Ontario Canada, breeds to the Canadian Kennel Club whippet standard. Priority is placed on health testing, fitness and sound temperament. If we get blue whippets that's a cherry on top!
